Lilies are so beautiful and what amazes me is how easy they are to grow. For several summers in Maine, I just stuck them in the ground in June and by late July there they were in my garden - georgeous . I don't have any growing now, alas, a sad tale that I won't bore you with. Fortunately for me Thuya Gardens which is open to the public has them in spades. I keep popping in to see how they're doing.
I couldn't resist these as they are like shy damsels, so completely graceful.
