This is not the season for flowers in New Orleans. It is too hot and too wet. Things are starting to mildew and it's not attractive. This morning I got a bee in my bonnet and pulled out most of the plants in my back bed. I think I'm just going to mulch it over and wait until September. So what's a flower lover to do . I decided to pull some things from the archives and try to remember that flowers so thrive here once it cools off. I found this shot of snapdragons from last winter and decided to post it just to make me happy.
